Free In-House BLS Training for Our Referring Dental Offices

Supporting Clinical Excellence & Patient Safety Across Northwest Indiana

At the Dr. Bennett Implant Collaborative, our mission extends beyond continuing education. We are committed to raising the standard of care across the entire Northwest Indiana dental community — not only through study club meetings, but through hands-on, practical training that supports your whole team.

That’s why we are proud to offer in-house Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at no charge for all referring dental offices.

Whether your team needs initial certification or simply a renewal, our on-site BLS training makes it easy, convenient, and accessible for your entire staff.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sounds like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident, and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve, and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

Why We Offer Free BLS Training

Dental emergencies are uncommon — but when they occur, they require immediate and confident action. As an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery center, we place a strong emphasis on patient safety and preparedness.

We know that many practices struggle with:

  • Scheduling team-wide certification

  • Finding reliable instructors

  • Coordinating training with busy office hours

  • Paying annual renewal fees

Our goal is to eliminate those barriers. By providing BLS training at no cost, we ensure that every practice in our referral network feels supported, prepared, and empowered to deliver the highest standard of care.

What the BLS Course Includes

Our comprehensive training follows the latest American Heart Association guidelines and covers the essential skills every dental professional should master, including:

  • Adult, child, and infant CPR

  • Use of an AED

  • Recognizing life-threatening emergencies

  • Rescue breathing

  • Team dynamics in emergency situations

  • Hands-on practice with mannequins and equipment

Participants receive a BLS Provider certification card upon successful completion.

Who Can Participate?

This complimentary training is open to all members of your dental team, including:

  • Dentists

  • Hygienists

  • Assistants

  • Front desk team

  • Office managers

  • New hires who need certification before starting clinical duties

We encourage offices to train together for the most efficient, team-centered experience.

How In-Office BLS Training Works

We make the process seamless:

  1. Choose a date that works best for your office.

  2. Our certified instructor comes directly to your practice.

  3. We bring all training materials and equipment.

  4. Your team trains together — no travel, no scheduling around scattered classes.

  5. Everyone receives certification at the end of the session.

Most sessions last 2–3 hours, depending on team size.

Why Teams Love Our BLS Training

Referring practices consistently share that they appreciate:

  • The convenience of onsite training

  • The cost savings

  • The focus on real-world scenarios specific to dentistry

  • The confidence their teams gain

  • The ability to complete training together without disrupting workflow

For many offices, this has become a once-a-year team-building event.

A Commitment to Our Dental Community

Providing free BLS training is just one way the Dr. Bennett Implant Collaborative supports clinical excellence in Northwest Indiana. We believe that when we elevate our community’s knowledge, skills, and preparedness, patients win — and that is at the heart of everything we do.
